We always welcome newcomers to our monthly Photo Exchange where we bring together people who love photography in a casual environment.Each month we set a theme to inspire and challenge us to get out and about and take photographs. Everybody then submits their favorite four images to be printed at 20x30cm and shown at the next Photo Exchange meeting. During the meeting we share the ideas, techniques and experiences gained when taking the images.We have anywhere between ten and thirty people attend the meetings with a great mix of skills and equipment. Digital Slr users mix with Point and shoot compact owners. The level of your equipment is irrelevant. It's only your enthusiasm to shoot and share your photos. The concept is by having a set theme open to your interpretation and a deadline to take the photographs by, you have the best excuse you'll ever have to get out and get active with your camera. The cost of $29.95 each month you attend includes:4x 20x30cm Photographic prints Attendance at one months meeting Drinks and Finger food provided on the night Online membership to put your images to our online gallery and community. Your first night is at half price so you can come along and decide for yourself how much fun you'll have. We also try to bring in a guest presenter a few times a year to introduce us to specialists in their genre of photography.
