We process colour negative film (C-41) on-site — not posted away to a lab. Drop your rolls in by 4pm Wednesday and they'll be ready to collect by Saturday. Negatives come back to you every time. Choose what you want: developed negatives only, prints, digital scans, or all three.

How it works
Step 1 Drop your film in by 4pm Wednesday.
Bring your rolls to 95 Keen Street any time. Let us know what output you'd like — develop only, prints, scans, or all three.
Step 3 We print and scan as requested.
Prints are made on professional photo paper. Digital scans are high-resolution files, ready to share or archive at any size.
Step 2 We process it in-house.
Your film is developed on-site using C-41 chemistry — not sent to an external lab. We handle it ourselves, start to finish.
Step 4 Collect or receive your files by Saturday.
Pick up your prints and negatives in-store, or we'll send your digital scans by email — whichever you prefer.

A. We process 35mm and 120 (medium format) colour negative film using C-41 chemistry. If you've got something different — slide film (E-6), black and white, or something unusual — call us first and we'll let you know what's possible.

A. By 4pm Wednesday. We run processing weekly — drop off any time Monday to Wednesday, and your order is ready by Saturday.

A. Yes — Develop + Scan is $25 for 35mm. You get high-resolution digital files by email or on USB, plus your negatives. If you want both prints and scans in one run, add $10 to the Develop + Print price.

It’s your choice. Either pay a $5 holding fee to collect your negatives, refunded on collection. We hold negatives for 3 months for collection. Alternatively we will destroy your negatives immediately. We’ll ask when you drop off your film.

A. We process and print every frame on the roll. If a frame is blank or heavily underexposed, we'll include the negative but skip the print and note it for you.

A. Usually yes — C-41 processing works on most expired colour negative film, though results vary depending on age and how the film was stored. We'll let you know if anything looks unusual before you commit to the full order..
